Things To Consider Before Making Your Cosplay

Am I making it for a photoshoot?
For photoshoots you can either make or buy your costume, It truly doesn’t matter. Wearing corsets and heavy armors might prevent you from doing certain poses, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Am I going be judging and paneling wearing my costume?
Cosplay judging and paneling is like a full time job where the conventions may even pay you for. In this case it’s better to keep the costume simple, and avoid wearing contacts because there’s a chance of getting eye infection if you are not being careful.
Am I going to see my friends in that costume?
